Sven Koehnen

As Vice President of Product Supply at MonoSol, Sven Koehnen is responsible for the end-to-end supply chain—from sourcing and manufacturing to shipping finished products. Under his leadership, the organization is driving toward Next Level Operational Excellence, with a strong focus on safety, quality, and productivity.

Sven has defined a clear vision for Product Supply and is leading organizational change to align with it. He is building a high-performing global leadership team, focused on execution, coaching, and development.

He currently leads global capacity expansion initiatives, enabling cross-functional teams to deliver complex projects that support MonoSol’s rapid growth. As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, Sven also plays a key role in advancing intent-based leadership—working to push decision-making closer to where the expertise lives, providing clarity and empowering teams with control and accountability.

Sven began his career in 1998 with Clariant GmbH in Frankfurt, Germany, overseeing quality control for thermoplastic polyvinyl alcohol (PVOH) and polyvinyl butyral (PVB). Following the acquisition of that business by Kuraray in 2001, he held roles in R&D, technical service, and product development, eventually becoming Head of Technical Services & Development for PVOH. In 2013, he joined MonoSol AF in the UK as Associate Director of Operations to lead the Blown Film business, and in 2016, he relocated to the U.S. as Director of Operations. Since 2019, Sven has overseen all global cast and blown film operations in his current role.
