MonoSol Again Honored as one of the Nation’s Best and Brightest Companies to Work for in 2021

Marks sixth consecutive year company earns distinction

MERRILLVILLE, Ind., February 7, 2022 – For the sixth consecutive year, Kuraray’s MonoSol division was named a Best and Brightest Company to Work For in the nation by the National Association for Business Resources (NABR). MonoSol was one of 204 organizations awarded the distinction, out of thousands of nominations considered nationally.

The award recognizes organizations that are doing better business, creating richer lives, and building stronger communities. The winning companies are assessed by an independent research firm based on key measures like employee compensation, benefits and employee solutions, diversity and inclusion, engagement, retention, and work-life balance. According to the NABR assessment, MonoSol ranked above the national average in both Community Initiatives and Strategic Company Performance.

“2021 brought new challenges to the world and businesses, but demand remained especially high for sustainable home and personal care products made possible by MonoSol’s material science,” said President Christian Herrmanns. “MonoSol has a legacy of delivering for our customers, serving our employees, and giving back to the communities in which we operate.”

The past year was defined by global supply chain challenges across nearly every industry. MonoSol, however, closed 2021 with a near-perfect on-time delivery rate earning accolades from its largest customers, including a “Partner with Purpose” award from Unilever.

MonoSol also continued its expansion activities to keep pace with growing demand. Production at MonoSol’s newest facility in Lebanon, Indiana, increased with the addition of two new lines in 2021. The facility is now hiring 10 additional employees. MonoSol’s new production facility in Poland is also scheduled to come online within the next year, bringing production closer to growing European markets.
